Hello folks,
We're all excited about the launch of the new home for the writers
community on the new domain. The new website is live and the OSI will
announce it officially on Monday!
You can do two things to help over the weekend:
1) Please test the website. If you find any issues, please use the contact
us form.
2) Get familiar with the style guide and start submitting pitches
https://opensource.net/submit-a-post/ (even before you have written the
full article).
The site still has some wrinkles, especially on the backend editorial
workflow and we may need some extra patience from you. But you'll see a
flow of articles starting next week and social media promotion on the new
LinkedIn page and new Mastodon @opensourcenet at opensource.org account (start
following those to keep up to date.)
The OSI will be promoting the new site extensively in the next months,
starting next week at Open Source Summit Europe in Bilbao (where OSnet is a
media partner) and at All Things Open in Raleigh. We have booths at both
events, come say hello.
Thank you again for your support and we look forward to growing the
community with you.
Kind regards,
Stef
